Overcoming Challenges
Building a privacy-focused Chrome extension required careful consideration of Manifest V3 limitations and service worker lifecycle. Implementing ad blocking with category-level analytics while maintaining performance was a significant challenge.
The video detection system needed to handle various streaming protocols including HLS, while the screenshot tools required complex canvas manipulation for full page capture and stitching.
